Celeb Gossip: Orlando Bloom vs. Justin Beiber

So I am posting this because I don't like Justin's personality/attitude and likes Orlando Blooms.
Anyway, Orlando B. threw a punch at Justin Beiber for talking about his ex-wife! Then Justin's ass had the guts to post a picture of Miranda Kerr on instagram.

Walking to Running

I kind like fitness. I do like how I feel from exercising. When I go back to school this fall I wanted to do intramural soccer. However, the other day my little brother and I were playing a little soccer in the front yard and after 5 short minutes we were both out of breathe. 

After that I decided to start running, hopefully building some endurance. I try to go work out twice a day-- I'd walk in the morning 1-4miles and do other things in the evening. However, I don't do my evening workouts anymore (I haven't in 2 months). So I am gonna implement 2 things to my "workout" routine. I'm gonna train my self to start running and then I'm gonna train my endurance with the Couch 2 5K app.

I'll just repeat it every 30 days until I feel like I can out run a serial killer or rapist.

Dating while African.

Before I begin I want you to know that I was born/raised by my 2 Nigerian parents. African parents are (or can be) similar to Asian parents (stereotype wise).

Now how many of you have dated outside your race?
I've had a thing for white guys for a while, however, I don't care if you're African American, Caucasian, Indian or etc as long as you have a heavenly body, an appealing face and a good-amazing attitude/personality then I'll like you.

Now my dad and I had a talk about dating and marriage once-pretty brief but he wanted me to marry an a Nigerian man--more specifically an Igbo man. He said I can date whom ever I please, but I MUST marry an Igbo man. I was a little mad and confused. But we'll see how this works out (when/if) I can even get a boyfriend.

What I don't like in a boy

Now when it comes to romance. I have NO stories. Yup none. The longest I had a boyfriend was a month. Not really a good month/romantic month if I may add. I'd like to have a relationship, but it is a little harder for me because I don't put myself out there. Boys used to tease me in middle and high school when I lived in Alabama, so I began to distance myself from them. I've never had a REAL guy friend. 

So now that I'm in college, I'd like to open my gates (no metaphor intended) and have a friend and maybe companion of the opposite sex. I know people who have some pretty awesome guy friends and I'd like to have a relationship like that. I actually began to enter a comfort zone last semester, and I'm hoping to improve my communication skills with people in general.

"What kind of guy do you like?" Well let me tell you what kind of guy I don't like. I don't like smokers (weed, cigarettes and anything someone can smoke). Smoking is cool in art but unattractive in real life to me. I don't like druggies (then again who does). I don't like guys who sag, who are arrogant (I don't need another me), who have no respect for others (especially parents), who lack a sense of humor, who aren't funny, who appear obsessed with something I don't like, who aren't hot (yeah I work out), who lack complete honesty, who are what I consider annoying, who aren't educated and speak as though they have never been to school, who don't want the best for themselves and finally who have the courage to hit a woman. This is just a peak there are more.

I listed all these for girls who are dating guys that do any of these. If your man hits you, doesn't respect your family, doesn't want the best for themselves, then you need to walk away or you can push them and whip them in shape (this excludes the women beaters).

Well I'll talk more about my love life (if/when) I get one. . . . . until then

Lucy Movie Review

Well I'm not gonna give you any spoilers. But I will say the writer had a GREAT idea, she/he could have made this a great mind blowing movie like Inception. However, he/she failed. So unless you want to waste your money go, but if you appreciate the awesomeness that is Scarlett then go. The movie had so much potential to be amazing, but damn it was ruined. If you want spoilers, I'll make a new post that has it!

Drinks: Sorrel Tea

I am a tea lover. I drink tea all the time, usually 1-3 coffee mugs a day. I wanted to share my favorite tea with you all. It's called sorrel tea. Sorrel is a flower in Central America (I believe) that can be brewed into a tea. Sorrel looks like this.

I get the original plant from a Latino store here in town but you could find it like that or like this at a world food store or Jamaican/African store.

If you're a tea lover like myself, I'd suggest you try this. It has a tart/tangy flavor that is still good alone, however you can add honey and lemons/limes for a tangy/sweet flavor. On top of that there are a few health benefits that the tea gives too. Check out Livestrong for more information.

My First Car or Naw?

Like many teenagers, I don't have my first car-my own car. I drive my parents car. Now I am a college junior, my dad and I agreed that I will have my OWN car this fall. We had a brief discussion on it because there wasn't much to say and he told me to talk to my mother. DUN DUN DUN!!!!!! My mother and I dislike one thing about each other--attitude. 

So going to her to talk about my car AGAIN (yes AGAIN) is bugging me. I have 2.5 weeks until I head back down to Tennessee and I still don't have a car. I did talk to her earlier in May then June but I didn't say anything in July because she disregarded what I said previously-so I found it pointless. 

I need a car, but I really don't want to go to her at all for it. She even speaks to me like she has a problem, when I didn't even do anything to her. I wish I had the money myself to get a car, but I am BAD at saving (which I will improve).
